Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to open bookings for its much-anticipated electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, on February 14, 2025. This strategic move aligns with the company's vision to strengthen its presence in the electric vehicle (EV) market.

Booking Details and Delivery Timeline

Starting at 9 AM on Valentine's Day, interested customers can book these models through Mahindra's official website or by visiting authorized dealerships. The initial focus will be on the 'Pack Three' variants, with deliveries slated to commence in mid-March 2025. Subsequent variants, including 'Pack Three Select' and 'Pack Two', are scheduled for delivery between June and July 2025. The entry-level 'One' and 'One Above' variants will be available from August 2025.

Pricing and Variants

The BE 6 is priced starting at ₹18.90 lakh, while the XEV 9e begins at ₹21.90 lakh. Both models are built on Mahindra's INGLO platform, featuring a modular skateboard architecture designed exclusively for electric vehicles. The XEV 9e offers two battery options: a 59kWh and a 79kWh unit, both utilizing Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry. This platform integrates a compact three-in-one powertrain comprising a motor, inverter, and transmission.

Enhanced Customer Experience & Safety

In anticipation of increased demand, Mahindra is revamping its showrooms and service centers to enhance the customer experience for both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) customers. New features include a Harman Kardon sound system experience, specialized personnel, dedicated eSUV bays, and a Remote Vehicle Diagnostics system.

Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e have achieved five-star safety ratings in the Bharat NCAP crash tests, underscoring Mahindra's commitment to safety.
